Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly today strongly denounced the unprovoked firing by Indian forces on civilian population along the Line of Control.

The House‚ which met with Speaker Sardar Ghulam Sadiq in the chair‚ adopted a resolution calling upon the international community to help resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions for establishing lasting peace in the region.

The House also paid tributes to the sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces for defending the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country.

The House also expressed sympathies with the quake affected families of Balochistan and assured that people of Azad Kashmir would extend all possible help to them in this hour of trial.
