India violated ceasefire at LoC: DGMO

RAWALPINDI: Director General Military Operations (DGMO), Major General Ashfaq Nadeem Tuesday said it was India that violated the ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC)

“We have responsibly made the Indian counterpart aware of the overall situation,” said Maj Gen Ashfaq Nadeem.

He said the Indian counterpart was informed on hotline as to how and when the Indian troops violated the ceasefire.

The DGMO said that Pakistan was fulfilling its duties with complete responsibility at LoC but added that India has created a tense situation there.

“It is not yet know when India puts an end to this tension but Pak Army stands fully alert to deal with any kind of situation,” he said.
