The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that work has already started on a plan to generate 900MW electricity to overcome energy crisis in the province. He said restoration of peace in tribal areas was the responsibility of the federal government; adding that a broad-based national policy should be framed in consultations with all political parties in the country.
