Moon not sighted‚ 1st Ramazan on Thursday

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has announced that Ramazan moon has not been sighted anywhere across the country.Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman, Mufti Munibur Rehman was presiding over the meeting, being held at Met Complex, Gulistan-e-Johar.

The first of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak will be on Thursday.

The Chairman made the announcement after a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Karachi.

He said not a single witness of the Ramazan moon approached the committee from any part of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The zonal committees also held their respective meetings at provincial capitals.

The Meteorological and other concerned departments also provided technical assistance to the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
