Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) website has been hacked by  Pakistani hackers identifying themselves as Bilal and Ch3rn0byl.

The home page of the website has a banner put up on it, saying ‘site ki load shedding mubarik ho’ or ‘Congratulations on site’s load shedding’.

The Pepco website hacked news went viral on social media and it reached on Private local media channels.

The home page is completely black with plain text written on it in red, green and white colors. The text goes on to say at the bottom of the page, “We wish you from the bottom of our hearts ….. hope you understand”.

Usually Pakistani Hackers don’t hack Pakistan Official or Unofficial sites, out of the ethics, but this time seems like they are angry due to over load-shedding which is unbearable in the holy month of Ramazan, specially on Sehri and Iftar timings, even though Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef has instructed WAPDA and K-electric about load-shedding timings.

At times Hackers works as Cyber Messiah, because ordinary Pakistani seems to be barking in front of the government. Least they are good at teaching some lesson
