The survey, which was commissioned by the British Heart Foundation, named Judy Garland’s dress and ruby slippers, in the 1939 classic ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ the second most memorable, followed by Olivia Newton-John’s tight black leather trousers and red mules in 1979’s ‘Grease’.

Marilyn Monroe also was the first female to appear on the cover of Playboy Magazine, She inspired millions of females with her unique beauty and Iconic style, Unfortunately she died due to drug dosage in very age. But her style even today lives on.

On August 5, 1962, at 4:25 a.m., LAPD sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe’s psychiatrist, saying that Monroe was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California, She was 36 years old. At the subsequent autopsy, eight mg/dL of chloral hydrate and 4.5 mg/dL of Nembutal were found in her system, and Dr. Thomas Noguchi of the Los Angeles County Coroners office recorded cause of death as “acute barbiturate poisoning”, resulting from a “probable suicide”. Many theories, including murder, circulated about the circumstances of her death and the timeline after the body was found. Some conspiracy theories involved John and Robert Kennedy, while other theories suggested CIA or Mafia complicity. It was reported that President Kennedy was the last person Monroe called.

She was known as President’s girl friend, in 80s  Madonna copying Marilyn Monroe’s style appeared in the videos from the album  ” Like a Virgin ” in various videos, In 90s Playboy Magazine made her memories recalled again when Anna Nicole Smith appeared on the Magazine Cover with same Iconic Style, Anna Nicole Smith was the closest one who ever achieved to be resemble like her but till dated none over taken her outfit nor the touch of beauty.
