Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has reportedly imported the Changan UNI K for trial and testing in Pakistan. The company is a new entrant in the local automotive industry but it has been making headlines with some of the vehicles in plans to introduce in the country, including the Changan UNI T, which was imported earlier and has been in testing on the roads of Pakistan.
The Changan UNI K is a mid-sized crossover SUV that was launched towards the end of 2020 and the vehicle has been imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) by the company for testing in Pakistan. However, there is no official information regarding the launch of this SUV.
Engine and Transmission
The Changan UNI K is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine, which is capable of producing 230hp and 360Nm of torque while mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission system.
Exterior
The Changan UNI K offers a sporty and futuristic look similar to the Changan UNI T, which is also being tested in Pakistan. The SUV is equipped with an attractive front grille, Y-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and LED headlights and fog lamps. The UNI K has pop-out door handles, which blend in with the body of the car.
