Kia Lucky Motors Corporation (KLMC) have notified of a massive increase in their car prices in Pakistan as the company implements 25% General Sales Tax (GST) in line with Governments instructions to meet the demand of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to resume the loan programme.
According to the details, the company has increased the price of Kia Sportage, Kia Stonic, Kia Sorento, and Kia Carnival in Pakistan by up to Rs. 622,000, while the price of Kia Picanto in Pakistan will remain unchanged as 25% GST is not applicable on the vehicle.
The new 25% General Sales Tax (GST) will be applicable on locally manufactured or assembled SUVs and CUVs, locally manufactured or assembled vehicles having engine capacity of 1400cc and above, and locally manufactured or assembled double cabin (4×4) pick-up vehicles.

The increase in prices of Kia cars in Pakistan has become applicable from 8th March 2023.
Kia Picanto Price in Pakistan
The price of Kia Picanto in Pakistan remains unchanged at Rs. 3,300,000 for the M/T variant and Rs. 3,550,000 for the Picanto A/T.

Kia Stonic Price in Pakistan
The price of Kia Stonic EX in Pakistan has also been increased by Rs. 300,000 bringing the new price to Rs. 5,200,000 from the old rate of Rs. 4,900,000, while the price of Kia Stonic EX+ has been jacked up by Rs. 330,000, bringing the new rate at Rs. 5,730,000 from the old rate of Rs. 5,400,000.

The company has has increased the price of Kia Sportage Alpha in Pakistan by Rs. 400,000, bringing the new price to Rs. 7,050,000 from the old rate of Rs. 6,650,000, while the price of Sportage FWD has been hiked to Rs. 7,790,000 after an increase of Rs. 440,000 from the old rate of Rs. 7,350,000. Similarly, the price of Sportage AWD is now Rs. 8,370,000 after an increase of Rs. 470,000 from the old price of Rs. 7,900,000.

The price of Kia Sorento 2.4 FWD in Pakistan is now Rs. 9,540,000 after increase of Rs. 540,000 over old price of Rs. 9,000,000. Likewise, the price of both Kia Sorento 2.4 AWD and 3.5 FWD is now Rs. 10,390,000 after increase of Rs. 590,000 over old price of Rs. 9,800,000.
