MG Pakistan has announced a massive hike in the price of MG HS Essence in Pakistan. In a notification, the company said that decision was taken in view of the extensive currency devaluation.
“MG has not changed MG HS Essence price since launch in 2022.” the company stated in the notification. “However, the price increase is now inevitable due to imposition of 18% GST in addition to forex impact.” it added.
MG HS Essence Price in Pakistan
According to the notification, the price of MG Essence in Pakistan has been increased in two stages as mentioned below.
Stage 1
The new price of MG HS Essence in Pakistan is Rs. 6,999,000 up by Rs. 100,000 from the old rate of Rs. 6,899,000. However, this hike applies to consumers with delivery time of February / March 2023 and these vehicles will be invoiced from 14th February 2023.
Stage 2
Meanwhile, the second stage brings the price of MG HS in Pakistan to Rs. 8,199,000, which is an increase of Rs. 1,300,000 for all new orders and consumers with delivery time of April 2023.
