New Generation Suzuki Swift Might Be Launching Next Month

This is an exciting news for all Suzuki Swift fans as the new generation of the vehicle is expected to launch in Pakistan next month (February 2022) after the old Suzuki Swift being discontinued after a decade of sales in the country.

According to PakWheels, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is planning to launch the new generation of the Suzuki Swift in Pakistan next month i.e. February 2022.

Engine and Transmission

The company is expected to launch the new Suzuki Swift with the K12X (1250cc) engine, mated with a 5-Speed Manual or CVT Transmission. However, there is another variant with a 1000cc Turbo Engine, which might be planned in the future but right now, Pakistan will most likely get the 1250cc variant.

It bears mentioning that old Suzuki Swift came with a larger 1395cc engine that fell into the higher token tax bracket, which will be avoided with the 1250cc variant of the vehicle.

Suzuki Swift Price in Pakistan

The expected Price of Suzuki Swift in Pakistan is Rs. 2.7 million, which is a huge increase from the old Suzuki Swift, but it bears mentioning that car manufacturers have increased their prices in recent months after the discontinuation of the old Suzuki Swift in Pakistan.

However, the new Price of the Suzuki Swift will create a hinderance to sales due to the increase in competition in the given price bracket, especially with the Changan Alsvin , Toyota Yaris and the base variant of the Honda City being available at a similar price range.

What do you think about the new generation of Suzuki Swift being launched in Pakistan? Let us know in the comments below.
