The Punjab government has announced a discount on car token tax payments that are made via the “Punjab E-Pay” mobile app.
It is pertinent to mention that the token tax for most vehicles was increased with the new budget for fiscal year (FY) 2024–25.
However, all vehicle owners can get 10% discount on their car token tax payments via the Punjab E-Pay mobile app.
According to the details, the offer is available until September 30, 2024.

It bears mentioning that Punjab’s E-Pay app is currently facing difficulties and people are unable to make any online payments.
However, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is working to resolve the issue, and the app should be up and running soon.
