United Auto Industries (Pvt.) Limited have notified of an increase in United Motorcycle Prices in Pakistan for the second time within two weeks. According to the notification, the company has increased the price of selected United Motorcycles in Pakistan, including US-70CC, US-100CC and US-125CC. The new United Motorcycle Prices go into effect from 7 June 2022.
The company states that reason for the increase in United Motorcycle Prices in Pakistan is the increase in the cost of raw materials and the constant devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR). However, the Pakistani Rupee has started its recovery against the US Dollar since the removal of the petrol subsidy by the government. It is pertinent to mention that all motorcycle manufacturers are increasing prices every other month while citing the same reasons despite most of the parts required for the assembly of these motorcycles being manufactured locally.

The new United Motorcycle Prices have gone into effect from 7 June 2022. The company previously increased prices of their motorcycles on 26 May 2022.
