Google has completely removed the currency converter feature for Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against any currency in their search engine and now it simply shows other webpages like any other search query.
UPDATE: Google Restores PKR Currency Converter on Search Engine
It is pertinent to mention that Google initially removed the USD to PKR converter from its search before taking down the entire currency converter for the Pakistani Rupee (PKR).
The move comes shortly after a glitch in its currency converter that showed the rate of Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR) as Rs. 207.10 on 28 July 2022 instead of its correct value of Rs. 239.94.
Google was able to fix the glitch in a matter of hours, however, the the company decided to completely remove the currency converter for Pakistani Rupee (PKR). However, it is unclear whether Google removed the PKR Currency Converter from its search engine due to the unstable nature of the local currency in recent weeks.
