Hyundai Nishat introduced Hyundai Sonata at Pakistan Auto Show 2020

Hyundai Nishat introduced another vehicle today at the Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) at the International Expo Centre Lahore and this time it was the long awaited Hyundai Sonata.

Today was the last day of the Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) that took place at the Expo Centre Lahore and Hyundai Nishat did not disappoint as they introduced their Hyundai Sonata that they company plans on launching in Pakistan very soon this year.

The company also introduced other vehicles that include the Tucson, Elantra, Ioniq Hybrid and Grand Starex earlier and you can view details about them on our earlier post below.

Now lets talk a bit about the Sonata which is powered by a 2.5 litre MPI engine with a six speed automatic transmission to go along with it. The engine makes 178 hp at 6000 rpm and 232 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.

The Sonata is expected to be priced at Rs. 12,000,000/- (PKR 12 million) which is very reasonable for what the car is offering and the engine its offering.

Hyundai Nishat Motor Private Company is already working together and manufacturing their Hyundai Porter H-100 truck in Pakistan at a manufacturing plant in Faisalabad and according to the company it is fully operational and able to assemble many vehicles.

Sazgar BAIC in a collaboration have also introduced some new vehicles at the Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) that will be launching in the Pakistani market very soon. Competition is going to increase which will definitely help the current auto sector crisis in the country.
