All Federal Educational Institutions closed till 5th April

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan presided the National Security Committee meeting today in PM Office, in which the committee decided to close all federal educational Institutes till April 5.

Federal Directorate of Education issued a notification stating that All Educational Institutions are being closed with immediate effect and until 05-04-2020 as decided by Federal Government.

Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mehmood shared the news on Social media “In a meeting of the National Security Committee presided over PM Imran Khan, it has been decided to close all educational institutions in the country till April 5. This includes all schools and universities, public and private, vocational institutions and madaris.”

اسلام آباد:وزیر تعلیم شفقت محمود کا ٹویٹ.ملک بھر میں تعلیمی ادارے 5 اپریل تک بند رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے.تمام سرکاری و نجی کول،یونیورسٹیاں،ووکیشنل ادارے اور مدارس بند رہیں گے.27مارچ کے اجلاس میں آئندہ کی صورتحال کا جائزہ لیا جائے گا:وزیر تعلیم شفقت محمود

All educational institutions shall remain closed till 5 April 2020. All educational activities shall remain suspended.

Earlier, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has closed all schools and educational institutions in the province over coronavirus fears after an emergency meeting of the KP cabinet was held chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.

The Government of Sindh already announced that they have preponed the summer vacations, now the schools and colleges will remain closed till 31st May and Educational Institutions will reopen on 1st June, 2020.

National Security Committee meeting also decided to cancel Pakistan Day Parade on March 23.

So far, 15 cases reported in Sindh and overall 22 cases across the country, yet no coronavirus case has been reported from Punjab and KPK.

Provincial and The Federal Government are taking precautionary measures to save students/teachers from Coronavirus (COVID-19).
