At present, the Ehd-e-wafa actress is trending all over the social world for garbing a strapless gown at Hum Style Awards 2021. However, this time, Alizeh is not alone. Highly renowned actresses like Ayesha Omar, Sadaf Kanwal, Nausheen Shah, Mashal Khan etc. are also in the headlines, on account of their daring outfits at the night of accolades.
One of the highly prestigious award shows of Pakistan, the Hum Style Awards are celebrated annually to cherish the deserving talents in the world of glitz and glam, and recognize the crafts and contributions of the veteran and emerging artists. The event is held every year in midsummer and is attended by renowned stars from music, television, film and fashion industries.
Moreover, as Hum Style Awards are dedicated to fashion and style, the celebrities also picks the best of their attires for the evening, as they flex and flaunt the sophisticated efforts of their designers on the red carpet.Hence, a wide variety of Eastern and Western wear attires surfaces at the event every year. And, the outfits garbed by the starlets are often praised by the audience.
However, this year, Hum Style Awards failed to impress the Pakistani watchers, as the Pakistani touch to the outfits was missing on high note. Instead, majority of the lady celebrities had embraced the Western culture, with their revealing, figure hugging dresses.
Even the male group was also not dressed to impress and had opted for rather funny suits and tuxedos.
Hence, the high status Hum Style Awards 2021 is the talk of the town. However, the night of praises is trending more for poor, uncultured sartorial choices than the wins or snubs.
Celebrities at HAS 2021 red carpet
Many celebrities from fashion, music, television and film industries graced the Hum Style Awards 2021 with their presence, and were spotted flexing their designer costumes at the red carpet of the event. Though, their choice of outfits has left the whole population disappointed, as they radiated more Western vibes, rather than the simplicity and elegance of Pakistani principles.
Majority of the divas had opted off shoulder, tight-fitting and revealing gowns and maxis. Meanwhile, male celebrities also lacked the Pakistani culture and ended at the receiving end of public disparagement with their poorly shaped ensembles.
Whereas celebrities like Ayesha Omar, Sonya Hussain, Aima Baig, Maha Tahirani, Sadaf Kanwal, and Nausheen Shah are among the many starlet who upped their style quotient with bold and daring choices, and therefore ended at the negative side of the audience.
Where Maha Tahirani, Amar Khan and Mashal Khan made the headlines with their skimpy gowns and bold makeup, Sonya Hussain had opted for a figure-hugging neon green suit that seemed to be poorly fitted, which is a fashion faux pas when it comes to suits that are not specifically designed to be baggy.
Furthermore, Aima Baig looked glamorous overall, yet the off-shoulder touch to her blood red gown ruined the charm.
Meanwhile, Ayesha Omar had decided on silver, backless, tightfitting gown, with petals like front popping out.
In addition to this, male centrals too did not do any justice to their attires. When designer Ali Xeeshan was trolled over his ‘King of the Hill’ suit, Uzair Jaiswal’s reverse-stitched blazer couldn’t go unnoticed either.
All in all, every other celebrity appearing on the red carpet was clad in west-inspired dresses. And, while celebrities are meant to wear outfits that show the very best that Pakistani fashion has to offer, the looks they offered this time around were anything but impressive.
Hence, Hum Style Awards 2021 are getting severely criticized and is the top trend at the moment.

Alizeh Shah gets criticized over strapless gown
Even though, nearly all starlets left the audience extremely disappointed with their bold and vulgar apparels, the one actress who faced the most public backlash and earned prominence was the young and emerging Alizeh Shah.
Alizeh Shah has been in hot waters ever since she abandoned the innocence and simplicity she once carried, and stepped ahead to daring choices. Hence, the starlet is under criticism every now and then, for whatever she does. At Hum Style Awards 2021, Alizeh Shah had cherry-picked a black, flowing strapless gown, matched with a glittering silver ear-cuff and a silver watch, with her bob cut hair pinned behind one year. Alizeh arrived at the red carpet with panache and treated the photographers to twirls of her ball gown.
