‘Apple Original films’ has recently announced a companion documentary titled ‘Number One on the Call Sheet’ that will honor and celebrate the black actors and their struggles to acquire a notable rank in films industry. Dedicated to the black achievements, the forthcoming docu-film is being produced by Jamie Foxx, Halle Berry and Kevin Hart among others.
Apple TV plus is well-known for bringing out the exceptional and powerful content for its subscribers, and therefore lies among the topnotch streaming giants. Ever since its establishment in 2019, the streamer has booked in a wide number of A-list actors, directors and producers for bringing out the best. And, as a result, has produced some spectacular television shows. Some of the highly credited titles, currently on the platform include See, Servant, Losing Alice, Defending Jacob, Greatness Code and Home before Dark among others.
However, this time, the platform has upgraded the level of its original content, and is shaping something extraordinary. Alongside the team of some classic black producers, the Apple TV is all set to release a documentary, wholly customized to the Black population of show business.

Number One on the Call Sheet
Apple TV’s forthcoming original, titled number one on the call sheet is a documentary, which will follow the endeavors of the Black actors and actresses, who make the major part of the films industry, however are still disregarded.
Produced by Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Datari Turner and Dan Cogan, “Number One on the Call Sheet” is executive produced by Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Reginald Hudlin and Bryan Smiley. The documentary has been divided inn two-phases. The first film will revolve around the groundbreaking work of Black women population, and is sub-named “Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Women in Hollywood.” The film is being executively produced by Bassett and Berry and directed by Shola Lynch.
Moreover, the second part of the documentary is titled “Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood” and will depict the endless efforts and dark ventures of Black male actors of the past who paved the way for today’s notable stars. The second film is directed by Reginald Hudlin.
Furthermore, apple has yet to reveal the premiere date for the forthcoming biopic. However, the film will debut globally on Apple TV Plus alongside newest Apple Originals. “Boys State” “Beastie Boys Story” and “The Banker” are among the lineups.
