Mark Wahlberg ‘Infinite’ coming this summer
Mark Wahlberg is once again returning to the television screens, with a science-fiction this time. Titled Infinite, the movie is just around the corner, coming out on June 10th, and is therefore the talk of the town.
Directed by Academy Award winner Antoine Fuqua, ‘Infinite’ has been adapted from D. Eric Maikranz’s 2009 novel “The Reincarnationist Papers.” While, Mark Wahlberg together with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Mark Huffam, John Zaozirny and Stephen Levinson served as the producer.
The forthcoming thriller narrates the story of Evan McCauley, an apparently schizophrenic guy, who is haunted routinely by skills he has never learned and the memories of places he’s never visited. Self-medicated and on the brink of a mental breakdown, he is rescued by a secret assembly whose members call themselves “Infinites.” They reveal to him that his memories are real, but, they are from multiple past lives.
Moreover, the Infinites bring Evan into their extraordinary world, where a gifted few are given the ability to be reborn with their memories and knowledge accumulated over centuries.
Now, with grave secrets buried in his past, Evan must work with the ‘Infinites’ to unlock the answers in his remembrances in a race against time to save humanity from one of their own, who seeks to destroy it.
Besides Mark Wahlberg, Infinite also stars the 12 years a slave and Maleficent actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. Ejiofor has embraced the antagonist in the upcoming feature.
