The Disney based streaming service Hulu has just revealed the trailer for its fear-igniting series Helstrom that originates from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise, leaving the Marvel population totally dazzled. Comprised of 10 episodes, the first season of this thrilling saga is scheduled to drop on the forum on 16th October.
Back in 2019, Hulu announced the development of two Marvel-centric series, titled Ghost Rider and Helstrom, being created precisely for “An adventure into fear” category that would add horror element to the superheroes formula. However, the former title fell off by the end of the year. Hence the approaching thriller stands the sole survivor of the planned fear-based “Huluween promotion.”
Helstrom timeline
The world isn’t ready for a Helstrom family reunion. As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon and Ana and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity – each with their own attitude and skills.
The upcoming Hulu’s masterpiece series, Helstrom, named after the family’s legacy, revolves around two siblings Daimon and Satana, who are children to the dreadful and shadowy serial killer. In Marvel comic con, they happen to be literal broods of the Devil.
The Helstrom offspring, Daimon tries to instill good into his life, being an ethics professor by day. However, his heirloom side upswings at night where he serves as an audacious devil hunter. His sister Ana, on the other hand, has inflexibly inherited the father’s business as she completely wipeout the existence of the wrong-doers, awarding them a slow agonizing death.
Furthermore, like the trailer suggests, a family tragedy in this spooky series will reunify the valiant and plucky Helstrom siblings, as they set out their heroic journey to eliminate the evil spirit and rescue the innocent.
Hulu reveals the titles and synopsis for initial episodes
Horror seekers might have to wait a month longer for the premiere of this ghostly supernatural narrative. Nevertheless, the streaming service has disclosed the titles for the first five episodes of Helstrom, along with their synopsis, giving an insight of its spine-chilling Halloween special. Following are the titles and synopsis,
Episode 1 “Mother’s Little Helpers”
Daimon Helstrom investigates a possessed young boy in Oregon. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Ana Helstrom stages an auction to expose a criminal. Disturbing events at St. Teresa’s cause concern as the siblings’ estranged Mother remains hospitalized.

Episode 2 “Viaticum”
A horrific accident leads Daimon and Gabriella fighting to save a man’s soul, while a darker force attempts to stop them. Meanwhile, Yen’s relationship with his work takes a dark turn towards obsession, and a discovery leads Ana back to St. Teresa’s.

Episode 3 “The One Who Got Away”
Daimon and Anna learn more about the destruction their father left in his wake. With Gabriella, they pay a visit to a potential victim and find themselves in deeper than they ever could have imagined. Hastings shocks Caretaker with a stunning revelation.

A demonic enemy brings together an unusual group. Daimon and Ana travel to San Francisco in search of Yen and an artifact that may help defeat the enemy. Ana tells Daimon about her extracurricular activities and Gabriella’s faith is attacked.

Things are not what they seem as Mother’s health sharply declines. As Ana searches for Yen, Gabriella offers counsel to a student struggling to understand how demons live among us. Daimon makes a discovery that is truly a matter of life and death.

Cast of Marvel’s Helstrom
Helstrom has been created by showrunner Paul Zbyszewski, whereas the head of Marvel television Jeph Loeb serves as executive producer.
The central cast of the frightening quest includes, Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon as the courageous sibling’s duo of Daimon and Ana. Additional characters have been brought to life by Elizabeth Marvel (Victoria), Ariana Guerra (Gabriella), Robert Wisdom (The caretaker), June Carryl (Dr. Louise Hastings) and Alain Uy (Chris.)
