Netflix has added the ability to sign out certain devices linked to your account through a new feature called, “Manage Access and Devices.” According to the details, the new feature allows the Netflix subscriber to go through a list of devices linked to the account and sign out any device or unwanted people to kick them out.
“Today, we’re launching Managing Access and Devices, a new feature in Account Settings that allows you to easily view recent devices that have streamed from your account and to log out of specific devices with just one click.” announce Netflix in a blog post.
This much-requested feature to help members manage their account security is now available to all members around the world on the web, iOS and Android. In order to access the newly released feature you need to head over to Account > Manage Access and Devices > Sign out any unwanted device or person from your account.
This is another step by Netflix to crack down on password sharing by allowing users to do their part before it needs to take matter into its own hands like some places where the company has introduced a additional fee for those sharing their passwords outside of the household.
