Selena Gomez attended the CrimeCon CrowdSolve event in Chicago with her mother where the two worked on help for a 38 year old murder case.
The official Instagram account of the event posted a photo on the video sharing platform of the 27 year old singer saying that they were honored to have Selena Gomez and her mother at the event and said:
They were perfect detectives who, along with hundreds of others, helped bring peace to the Sova family.

Selena and her mother were helping solve the murder of Kurt Sova who disappeared on 23 October 1981 in Cleveland and his body was found five days later by a ravine.
The singer also shared a few photos of herself and her mother on her own Instagram account at the CrimeCon event in Chicago.
