Sheheryar Munawar, Humaima Malik, Asad Siddique team up for Sakina Samo’s film

The enigmatic heartthrob of Pakistan Sheheryar Munawar is all set to return to the silver screens with Sakina Samo’s forthcoming flick. Moreover, alongside the Parey Hut Love superstar will be the charismatic emerging film star Asad Siddiqui, whereas the bold and beautiful Humaima Malik will gracefully adopt the central lady’s avatar.

The approaching project was announced by the legendary writer, actress and producer Sakina Samo on her Instagram handle. Sharing a portrait with the male cast, the mera naseeb actress captioned, “By the grace of Allah, I am able to announce some details about my next film. I am so pleased to say Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Asad Siddiqui (not related!) are confirmed, cast members.”

In addition to this, Sakina shared a picture of the hypnotic Humaima Malik, where she revealed the female lead. Other than that, the actress also gave a sneak peek into the timeline of her film, unveiling it to be a reality based love saga. The film is set in interior Sindh. Besides, no further details are yet disclosed.

“And here is our leading lady…the talented Humaima Malik.”

“I’m humbled and proud to be directing a story set in interior Sindh. All I can say at this point is it’s a love story inspired by true events and characters. It’s a script that I’ve been mulling over for decades, finally I’ve put pen to paper!” – came from Sakina Samo.

Sheheryar Munawar Siddique is a versatile actor with his fan following scattered all over the world.  Sheheryar started his showbiz career as a drama actor with his debut in the Hum TV’s drama serial Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley in 2012.  With his flawless portrayal of deaf and dumb boy, the actor captivated huge audience in his first project only. Hence, Sheheryar’s acting knack was instantly recognized. Sheheryar appeared in several more screenplays subsequently, majority of which were running success. Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay, Zindagi Gulzaar Hai and Asmanoun Pay Likha to name a few are among Sheheryar’s highly celebrated titles.

Furthermore, with mounting fame with each project, Sheheryar soon left dramas industry and proceeded to films and had been unstoppable ever since. The actor featured in one after other chartbuster flicks, and has bagged multiple accolades and awards of Best actor for his performances. Parey Hut Love, Ho Mann Jahan, 7 Din Muhabbat Inn and Project Ghazi are among Sheheryar’s blockbuster silver screen projects.

The mesmerizingly gorgeous and remarkably talented model turned actress Humaima Malik, is applauded both nationally and abroad, owing to her invincible acting craft.

Humaima made her acting debut in 2009 with the serial Ishq Junoon Deewangi, and after performing in few more dramas like Akbari Asghari and Tanveer Fatima, the actress stepped ahead and marked her film debut with Universal success and one of the highest grossing Pakistani film Bol.

Here to mention Humaima Malik is also part of Bilal Lashari’s highly anticipated The Legend of Maula Jutt, expected in near future.  

Asad Siddique

Asad Siddique is an emerging talent who likewise Sheheryar Munawar started off as a drama actor, and has starred in dozens of acclaimed screenplays. Some of Asad’s notable serials are Gumraah, Sanam, Tawaan, Dil Ruba, Zebaaish, Tu Mera Junoon and Surkh Chandni.

On the film front, Asad has appeared in two features, titled Lahore Se Agay and Chhalawa, both of which were wide success.
