‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ had widely crashed the anime box office, when it premiered back in 2018. Being the first sequel to the original 40 years old ‘Dragon Ball manga’ franchise, the adventurous story had harvested critical acclamations from all over the globe.  It had earned $120 million worldwide then.

And, to continue the chilling escapades of Goku and his buddies and to collect the all seven dragon balls, creator Akira Toriyama is once again returning with the second “Dragon Ball Super” movie.

Second ‘Dragon Ball Super’ film

Founded on a comic by Toriyama that debuted in the “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine in 1984 and has sold 260 million paperback copies worldwide, the “Dragon Ball” franchise is the most popular Japanese manga series that spreads to TV anime, films, video games and other merchandises.

After two chartbuster television series Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, the first ever original dragon ball movie was premiered in 2015. The movie, as expected was an immense hit all over the globe, and motivated the creator to work on a sequel. Consequently, the first follow-up titled Dragon Ball Super: Brolly came out in 2018.

However, the action-packed explorations of Goku and his friends are not concluded yet. And, the audacious fighters group is all set to continue their hunt for the seven magical dragon balls, as the all new Dragon Ball Super film is coming real soon, as pronounced by Toriyama.

Moreover, to accompany the exciting announcement of a brand-new Dragon Ball movie, manga creator Akira Toriyama sent along a message about the upcoming film.

“An all new movie since ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ is currently in the making! Just like the previous movie, I’m heavily leading the story and dialogue production for another amazing film. I really shouldn’t talk too much about the plot yet, but be prepared for some extreme and entertaining bouts, which may feature an unexpected character. We’ll be charting through some unexplored territory in terms of the visual aesthetics to give the audience an amazing ride, so I hope everybody will look forward to the new movie!”

Here to mention, the new Dragon Ball film does not have a release date yet, and is not expected anywhere earlier 2022.  But, based on the sneak peek given by the creator, it will embrace a whole new gripping timeline with the debut of another exciting character.
