Jennie Runk was born on June 13, 1989, an American plus-size model. Her featured in US Vogue’s 2005 Shape issue brought her to prominence. Her appearance in H&M’s 2013 beachwear campaign is what created her waves in the industry. Her beachwear campaign was featured on the front page of H&M’s United States website in April 2013 which received extensive media coverage and spread rapidly through social media and blogs.

She was discovered by Mark Clarke of Mother Model Management when she was volunteering for the cat adoption department at the age of 13 in 2003.

She has won the Miss Surrey Title in 2008 and became the first size 16 (US size 12 to 14) model and reached the finals for the Miss England tiara. The finals for Miss England was held on 18 July 2008 and came she came in second place. The same year she got signed by the Models Plus Agency.
