Senior Pakistani journalist Kamran Khan recently visited the newly opened International House of Pancakes aka IHOP Karachi and gave his two cents about the quality of food and the restaurant’s service.
Taking to social media, the journalist called IHOP Karachi a “disaster in making” and expressed his opinion about the poor quality of food items being served at the eatery.
“Always ready for omelette or fried eggs surprise, you’ll be served with something strange no relevance with what you had ordered.” says Kamran Khan is his rant about IHOP Pakistan.
Warning people to never try their ‘French Toast’, the journalist said, “Don’t ever order french toast, fine if you are okay with egg smelling completely dry from inside loaf of bread.”
“Don’t order appetisers from the menu they said they served with Honey Mustard Sauce but waiter serves the order with the news that Honey mustard sauce is finished in IHOP Pakistan.” added Kamran Khan expressing his disappointment with the food he was served.
“Of course the staff is not bothered so don’t expect to be compensated.” he further added mentioning that IHOP Pakistan won’t be able to survive once all first time visitors try the food to satisfy their initial curiosity.
IHOP is known for their world famous fluffy and light pancakes and other breakfast items. The eatery also servves other items like burgers and steaks so there is something for everyone.
IHOP Karachi is being operated by Gerry’s Group which is a leading Logistics as well as Food and Beverage group based in Pakistan and there are reports of several more branches being opened across Pakistan during the span of 9 years.
