The Punjab IT Board (PITB) in collaboration with the provincial Finance Department has launched the ePay Punjab support helpline to assist citizens with their online tax payment queries without the hassle of visiting the Excise and Taxation Department if they end up with an issue while using the e-payment system.
The ePay Punjab online tax payment system has helped increase tax collection in the province by enabling citizens to make online payments and avoid the hassle of visiting the Excise and Taxation Department and waiting in long queues.

Citizens can use the ePay Punjab app and web portal to make tax payments online, including vehicle token tax and property among others, from the comfort of their homes which is especially useful because of the current pandemic.

ePay Punjab has also new tax/levy payment services for Private Education Provider Registration and Information System (PEPRIS).
According to the PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor, the ePay Punjab payment system has processed north of three million transactions while collecting more than Rs. 13 billion.
