ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Provincial Government has resolved to expand the operational range of its electric bus service to include Hassan Abdal and Fateh Jang in order to offer modern and green means of transport to the people of these regions.
This is possible due to the efforts of the Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, who assures that the residents of Hassan Abdal and Fateh Jang will enjoy the services of electric buses in the future.
In a meeting held in Islamabad, the Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, and Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa looked into the developments concerning the deployment of electric buses on the route of Fateh Jang.
During the meeting, it was agreed to integrate the additional destinations of Hassan Abdal and Fateh Jang into the CDA’s electric bus services so that these areas can have better connections to Islamabad.
As always, there is a formal decision-making process that has to be followed.
In a statement to the media, Governor Sardar Salim Haider Khan reiterated his resolve to partner with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on development initiatives for the province of Punjab.
He praised the government of Punjab for taking the initiative of providing electric buses to backward areas, describing it as a monumental shift towards changing dynamics for progress and modernization.
