Kashmir Srinagar :  Putting speculations on extension of summer vacation to rest, the State Government Wednesday said all the schools across both regions will open on Thursday.

Education Minster Tara Chand confirmed that schools will open on Thursday. “Summer vacation is over so schools will open on Thursday. Government are not going to extend summer vacations as students have already lost lot of days due to strikes during this year, “he said.

However parents have expressed apprehension over the safety of their children in view of the prevailing situation in the Valley. “It is a risky situation for our children to go to school in these conditions as situation is tense in valley after the gool killing. We are scared of sending our wards to school at a time when the situation can take ugly turn anytime. Authorities should take our concerns into consideration,”they said.

Pertinently on 15 July government announced summer vacations in all government institutions including recognized private schools up to higher secondary level (falling in Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division) from July 15 to July 24

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
