With Pakistan’s inflation reaching an all-time high, the street crime across the country has increased significantly. At least 70 factory workers were robbed in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony # 3 on Wednesday.
According to the details, the snatching took place near Al-Mustafa Hospital while the factory workers were heading towards their respective homes in a bus that belonged to the ‘Noor Leather Garments’ factory.
The robbery was apparently carried out by six individuals on three motorcycles and they successfully escaped with 65 mobile phones and other valuables from the factory workers after the stormed the bus.
Following the incident, the bus driver immediately drove to the nearest police station and upon their arrival, the police simply told the factory workers to return home and come back later to file an official FIR.
