ISLAMABAD: The President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani is expected to arrive Islamabad on two-day official visit tomorrow on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Afghan President will be accompanied by a high-level delegation of Advisors, Minister, Senior government officials, and businessmen.
During his visit, Afghan President will have a meeting with President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
President Ghani and Prime Minister Khan will hold delegation level talks to strengthen bilateral cooperation the relations with neighboring countries.
This will be President Ghani’s third visit to Pakistan since he took office.
n a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson said the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan are bound by fraternal ties reinforced by historical, religious, linguistic and cultural affinities. Closer engagement between the leaders will help foster a stronger and multi-faceted relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
