KARACHI: New details have been revealed after audio messages and pictures of Dr Maha Shah surface on the internet pointing towards physical abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.
Dr Maha Shah mentions having suffered physical abuse being beat up by her boyfriend which also broke her tooth which is exactly what was stated by her father earlier.

In the second screenshot which happens to be from 2018, Dr Maha mentions having a bad fight with Junaid Khan, one of the accused in the case. She also spoke about being mentally stressed because of her situation.
The late doctor was going through a lot of mental trauma because of Junaid Khan according to the audio message that surfaced online. Dr Maha Shah even claimed of having seizures resulting from all the stress she was going through.
Police to exhume body of Dr Maha Shah for autopsy
According to police a team will be sent to Mirpurkhas for the exhumation process after which proper autopsy will be carried out to tie up any loose ends in the case.
This decision was taken by the police after it was discovered that the information in the original medical report had discrepancies. According to the police, the report stated that Dr Maha Shah shot herself using a 9mm pistol from the left whereas, the bullet was shot from the right side.
