CNG Price in Pakistan Increased [17 November 2021]

The price of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Pakistan has been increased across the country as the Federal Government as doubled the General Sales Tax (GST) on the Gas. The CNG Price in Pakistan has reached Rs. 200 per kilogram after an increase of Rs. 10.30 per kilogram in the General Sales Tax (GST).

However, the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has criticized the Federal Government over the decision to increase taxes at a time when price of other petroleum products, including Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) have reached record high rates. The association have termed the decision an unjustified move.

It bears mentioning that CNG Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 50 per kilogram since September 2021. The new price of CNG throughout the country is mentioned in detail below.

The CNG Price in Pakistan has reached as high as Rs. 200 per kilogram in Sindh, Rs. 140 per kilogram in Punjab, Islamabad, and Potohar and Rs. 150 per kilogram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.

It is pertinent to mention that Price of Petrol in Pakistan has reached record high at Rs. 145.82 per liter, while the Price of Diesel has reached 142.62 per liter.
