As the coronavirus outbreak is worsening in Pakistan with more cases emerging, Pakistan Post has took the initiative to deliver pensions of people to their homes to keep them safe from COVID-19 and ensure social distancing.
The Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed announced last week that they will be delivering pensions to 1.3 million retired government employees to their doorstep and the Pakistan Post seems to be keeping that promise having delivered pension to over 200,000 people in two days.
This step is being taken to make sure that the elderly stay protected inside their homes and safe from the risk of the coronavirus pandemic.
