The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 138,378 while the country’s death toll has reached 2,627. There were 6,477 more cases reported on Saturday (13 June 2020) along with a total of 83 more fatalities from across the country. This is the highest reported death toll in a single day.
Sindh reported 23 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by Provincial Health and Population Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 816 while total cases in Sindh have reached 51,518.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 19 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 661 while total cases in the province have reached 17,450.
PUNJAB reported 31 more fatalities according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) bringing the provincial death toll to 969 while the number of cases have reached 52,601.
Balochistan reported three more fatalities bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 83 while the probable death toll has remains at 57. The number of cases in the province have reached 8,028 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.
Islamabad reported six new fatalities according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches at 71 while number of cases have reached 7,163. The following is the distribution of cases across the city.
One more fatality was reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir bringing the death toll to 11 while number of coronavirus cases have reached 534 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
