Coronavirus cases in Pakistan – Update [14 June 2020]

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 143,800 while the country’s death toll has reached 2,725. There were 5,422 more cases reported on Sunday (14 June 2020) along with a total of 98 more fatalities from across the country.

Sindh reported 15 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by Provincial Health and Population Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 831 while total cases in Sindh have reached 53,805.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 14 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 675 while total cases in the province have reached 18,013 according to their daily COVID-19 update.

Balochistan reported two more fatalities bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 85 while the probable death toll has reached at 58. The number of cases in the province have reached 8,177 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.

Islamabad reported four new fatalities according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches at 75 while number of cases have reached 7,934. The following is the distribution of cases across the city.

Gilgit Baltistan reported no new deaths according to the Daily Situation Reported issued by the GB Health Department. This keeps the regional death toll at 16. Furthermore, the total positive cases in the region have reached 1,129.

One more fatality was reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir bringing the death toll to 12 while number of coronavirus cases have reached 604 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.

NOTE: Punjab did not report any new figures for 14 June 2020. We will update the post as soon as new report is available.

PUNJAB reports 62 more fatalities in one day bringing the provincial death toll to 1,031 making it the first province to cross the 1,000 fatalities mark according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The total coronavirus cases in the province have reached 54,138.
