Coronavirus cases in Pakistan – Update [4 June 2020].

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 89,874 while the country’s death toll has reached 1,835. There were 4,967 more cases reported on Thursday (4 June 2020) along with 69 more fatalities from across the country.

Sindh reported 20 more fatalities according to the Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah. This brings the provincial death toll to 575 while total cases in Sindh have reached 34,557.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 21 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 521 while total cases in the province have reached 11,890.

517 new cases confirmed (33 Torkham, 16 Int'l flights centers) taking total to 11,890. 21 lives were lost (9 Peshawar, 3 Swat, 2 Abbottabad, 2 Kohat, 1 Kurram, 1 D I Khan, 1 Mansehra, 1 Mardan, 1 Nowshera). 71 patients recovered taking tally to 3,221 in KP. Punjab reported 22 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 629 while the number of cases have surged to 33,144 according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) daily coronavirus report.

Balochistan reported two more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 53 while the number of cases in the province have reached 5,582 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.

Islamabad reported four more fatalities bringing the death toll of the capital city to 38 while the number of coronavirus cases have reached 3,544 according to the District Health Office Islamabad.

Gilgit Baltistan did not report any new fatalities however the coronavirus cases have reached 852 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the GB Health Department.
