Coronavirus cases in Pakistan – Update [5 June 2020]

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 93,329 while the country’s death toll has reached 1,929 after a total of 94 more fatalities were reported on Friday ( 5 June 2020) from across the country. This is the highest single day death toll reported yet.

Sindh reported 40 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update issued by the Provincial Health and Population Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 615 while total cases in Sindh have reached 34,889.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 20 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 541 while total cases in the province have reached 12,459.

Punjab reported 30 more fatalities which brings the provincial death toll to 659 according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The number of cases have reached 35,308.

Balochistan reported one more fatality bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 54 while the probable death toll has reached 48. The number of cases in the province have reached 5,576 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.

Islamabad reported three more fatalities bringing the death toll of the capital city to 41 while the number of coronavirus cases have reached 3,946 according to the District Health Office Islamabad.

There were no updates from the Gilgit Baltistan Health Department for 5 june 2020.
