There have been three reported deaths because of the novel coronavirus so far with two of them taking place in KPK while one was from Sindh.
The federal government has said that there won’t be a lock down right now however they are urging people to stay indoors and avoid contact with other people to curb the spread of the coronavirus
Sindh government is especially taking these measures seriously after the first reported death and the rising number in the province.
The residents of Sindh however, are ignoring government instructions to curb the spread of the coronavirus and usual traffic was seen in Karachi on Saturday morning with buses full of people and the same crowd on the roadside hotel despite the government telling people to self isolate for three days.
Even the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Mushtaq Mehar warned people that no more than five people should be seen together in public during this coronavirus outbreak otherwise legal action can be taken.
The people however seem to not be listening to anyone and continuing with their normal lives amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The novel coronavirus has infected more than 277,000 people and taken lives of more than 11,000 people globally. The infections are most in China where the virus originated however, the death toll in Italy has surpassed that of China by a significant margin.
