US Blogger Cynthia Ritchie has officially formally submitted a written application to the SHO Police Secretariat Islamabad for registration of First Information Report (FIR) against former Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
In her application Cynthia Ritchie explains how Senator Rehman Malik in connivance with ex-Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani are using social media to threaten and defame her including leaking her personal information such as her cellphone number, passport and address.
The blogger claims that Rehman Malik is using his influence to intimidate her into backing off from the allegations and the on-going feud between the Pakistan Peoples Party.

According to Cynthia Ritchie, she has been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) on the directions of Senator Rehman Malik after she made the rape allegations against him.
Ritchie claims to have evidence that includes screenshots and voice recordings of the multiple threats being made which include rape and harm to her family and even claims to have a diplomat residing in Islamabad that is willing to provide a testimony in her favor.
She explains the entire incident that took place in May of 2011 at the Minister’s Enclave and said that she even reported the matter to the US Embassy and Federal Authorities in Washington DC a few days later.
She ends her application requesting an investigation into the matter and says that if any harm came to her, Senator Rehman Malik would be responsible.
