Journalist Bashir Chaudhry took to Twitter highlighting the fact that the DC Islamabad was surrounded by people and not wearing a face mask which goes against the rules during this pandemic.

However, the official responded to the journalist pointing out that he only took off the mask for minute but the point has been taken and the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad will be submitting a fine of Rs. 1,000 to the government account.

Furthermore, he states that he will be showing the challan on Twitter after paying the Rs. 1,000 fine as confirmation.

I came out of my car and took off the mask for a few seconds but I saw NG (reporter) taking my pictures. I wore the mask again in a minute. However I take the point. I'll submit Rs 1000 in Govt Account as a fine and show challah here 🙏 https://t.co/PLMuxUHWKc
