As some beneficiaries are having trouble receiving payments, Ehsaas Emergency Program has been issuing important announcements for the convenience of the people so that beneficiaries can get their financial aid of Rs. 12,000 hassle free.
The Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program issued three important announcements yesterday regarding some of the issues being faced by beneficiaries and applicants who are registering to get financial aid under the program.
Today the Ehsaas Programme issued two more announcements in continuation to the earlier three that were made yesterday. The fourth announcement states that those who have not registered for the Ehsas Programme by sending an SMS to 8171 should not visit the payment centers as to avoid unnecessary crowd and make sure that the beneficiaries are not inconvenienced.
The fifth announcement by the Ehsaas Emergency Program states that those beneficiaries who are having trouble with their biometric verification should contact NADRA office to get the matter resolved. NADRA offices have been opened since 4 May and are working on priority basis to resolve issues related to the Ehsaas Program.
If anyone has received an SMS regarding their parent of spouse being eligible but they have passed away, then you need to visit your nearest NADRA office to register their death and afterwards need to get it verified by BISP office after which payment will be issued.
There’s a seventh announcement just released so we’re updating this post with it. It states that those beneficiaries who have received an SMS from 8171 stating that they are eligible need to wait for the next SMS confirming the date they can collect their payment.
If you require any further assistance you can contact the toll free Ehsaas Program helpline on 0800-26477.
