Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken action against the firing incident at Bahira Town Karachi, and removed the Gadap Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Station House Officer (SHO).
According to the details, the private guards from Bahria Town Karachi along with policemen in civilian clothes tried to destroy crops in Kamal Khan Jokhio Goth on Friday but the locals put up resistance and forced the private guards and policemen to leave.
However, the private guards from Bahria Town Karachi and policemen both in uniform and civilian clothes returned after Friday prayers and used bulldozers to destroy the crops and when they were met with resistance by locals, the private guards opened fire at the villagers.
At least one villager identified as Shaukat Khasheli sustained injury as a result of the firing by private guards from Bahria Town Karachi, who then took the injured man to the police station to register a First Information Report (FIR) against him. However, the locals reached the police station and had him shifted to a nearby hospital.

CM Sindh Takes Action Over Firing Incident At Bahria Town Karachi
Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has removed the Gadap Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Station House Officer (SHO) over the firing incident at Bahira Town Karachi.
The Chief Minister has ordered investigation into the matter while promising that the Sindh Government will not allow anyone to be wronged.
“The rights of local people will be completely protected.” Shah said in his statement.
However, some people are of the view that Sindh Government in involved in these matters and does not care about the locals. The reporter argues that Supreme Court allowed Bahria Town Karachi to take 16,000 acres against payment of Rs. 4.6 billion within 3 years. However, BTK is occupying over 24,000 acres and Sindh Government is sleeping.
