Reports are surfacing on social media of the former DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor having a car accident on the motorway near Sargodha.
However the only news outlet to report the incident so far has been Daily Ausaf which is a Pakistani newspaper.
According to their report as link above, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoof was traveling with his family on the M2 Motorway near Sarghoda when the accident happened. Everyone is reportedly fine and without injuries.
A cow apparently came in the middle of the highway and unable to stop the vehicle ended up hitting the cow. However as the vehicle was below the speed limit, it was able to slow down just enough to avoid any serious injuries.
According to reports gathered from social media, the accident caused a a pile up on the motorway with people in other cars getting minor injuries although no casualties were reported.
The accident is said to have happened a few days ago when former DG ISPR was travelling from Rawalpindi to Lahore and a cow suddenly came into the middle lane of the M2 motorway near Sargodha.
There are however no solid news outlets reporting on the accident hence we can’t link to any major source other then this Daily Ausaf report who are the only ones reporting on the accident.
