Govt Announces Public Holiday on September 17 for Eid Milad un Nabi

The Government of Pakistan has announced a public holiday on September 17, 2024, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1446 A.H.).

A notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division in this regard, stating, “It is declared that 17th September 2024 (Tuesday) shall be a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1446 A.H.).”

As a result, all government and private schools, colleges, and offices will remain closed to allow citizens to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
