IGP Islamabad paid a surprise visit to Police Stations

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan paid a surprise visit in the rural zone area of Police station Koral, Lohi Bher and Sihala respectively.

The IGP interacted with the police Jawans and inquired about their issues.

The IGP Islamabad informed police Jawans about his recent initiative “Respect people and get respect” and also shed light on its concept for respect of people. As we are public servants and we draw our salary from their taxes.

In addition the IGP Islamabad also briefed Jawans about Facebook page “friends of Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan IG Islamabad” where they can share their good work videos on this page, police officials will be rewarded for their commendable job/public service.

He further emphasized that all police Jawans should act as intelligence operators, which would make Islamabad crime and drug free city.

This is the first time that any IGP has personally visited the police stations to interact with constabulary and addressed their issues on the spot.
