Imran Khan Canceled PTI Jalsa Amid Serious Security Threats

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has issued a press statement, Today, on August 22, 2024, According to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Core Committee was informed of a decision made by Chairman Imran Khan to cancel the scheduled jalsa in Islamabad on August 21, 2024 due to serious security threats.

Imran Khan, considering the safety of the nation and the people, took this crucial step.

This decision by Imran Khan is a reflection of his unwavering commitment to Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf remains steadfast in its political struggle and will continue to work towards its goals, undeterred by any conspiracies or attempts to destabilize the party from within or outside the country.

The Committee strongly emphasizes that the country’s future is secure, and the next jalsa will be held at an appropriate time. The party is confident that the government and relevant authorities will take all necessary measures to ensure peace and security in the country.

The Core Committee also praised Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, for his efforts and the sacrifices made for the safety and security of the nation, which were commendable.

The Committee also thanked Pakistan’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies for their role in safeguarding the country, and PTI hopes that such efforts will continue.

The Core Committee assured that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will remain committed to the political process and will not back down from its mission to serve the people and protect the future of Pakistan.
