A Canadian airline, Zara Airways, has announced to start direct flight operations to Pakistan.
According to the details, Zara Airways will be operating direct flights from Toronto to three major cities in Pakistan.
The airline will use two Boeing 777 aircraft initially and will probably increase the fleet based on demand.
The airline has confirmed that it will be operating three weekly flights from Toronto to Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.
Currently, the airline is seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Canadian Government before it can start operations.
Zara Airways will make it easier and more convenient for people to travel between the two countries while avoid connecting flights.
Founded by Pakistani-Canadian businessman, Faqir Bawar Hussain, the airline has partnered with Shaheen Airport Services for ground and other staff.
“We are excited to offer direct flights between Canada and Pakistan,” CEO Zara Airways Syed Quli said at a news conference in Karachi.
In recent months, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and SunExpress, which is a Turkish-German airline, to operate flights in Pakistan.
