LAHORE: Pakistan Railways offers 50% discount to all the students in Winter holidays, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed announced in a press conference.
Students will be able to avail the discounted fares from 25th December 2018 to 10th January 2019 on all the routes and trains.
Already, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed has announced Free travel for aged citizens above 75 and 50% discount for above 65 of age.
By 25th December we’ll be launching another freight train as these are the backbone of revenue – Sheikh said.
Free WIFI service is now available on all major stations for passengers.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will inaugurate Sindh Express (Karachi to Sukkur) and Mirpurkhas Express (Karachi to Mirpur Khas) two new trains in Sindh soon.
50% discount for students
To avail the discounts, Students needs to provide Student Card (Identification) at the reservation offices.
