Traffic Plan Announced for PTI Jalsa in Sangjani on Sunday

Islamabad authorities have released a traffic plan for the upcoming PTI Jalsa scheduled to take place on Sunday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Sangjani.

For Islamabad residents, only the new Margalla Avenue/Iran Avenue will be open for access to the venue, while all other routes from the city will be restricted.

Rawalpindi attendees are advised to use Dhamial Road or Girja Road to reach the Thalian or Chakri Interchange on the M2 motorway, then proceed to the venue via Paswal Road from the AWT Interchange.

For those coming from Punjab (G.T. Road) and KPK, specific routes have been designated to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Participants from southern districts of Gujar Khan are instructed to follow G.T. Road to Rawat, then take Chakbeli Road to the Chakri Interchange and join the M2. Similarly, travelers from KPK via M1 should utilize the AWT Interchange and Paswal Road, while those coming from Wah Cantt should take the Brahma Jhang Bahtar Interchange on the M1. Murree residents are advised to follow Shahpur Road/Phulgaran Road to Khana Pull, then proceed via Lethrar Road, Rawat T Chowk, Chakbeli Road, and the Chakri Interchange. Note that all other routes from KPK and Punjab will remain closed.

Date: Sunday Time: 4 PM – 7 PM Venue: Sangjani

Traffic Restrictions and Alternate Routes:

Islamabad:

  • Only the new Margalla Avenue / Iran Avenue will be accessible to reach the venue.
  • All other routes from Islamabad will be restricted.

Rawalpindi:

  • Use Dhamial Road or Girja Road to reach Thalian Interchange or Chakri Interchange on M2, respectively.
  • From AWT Interchange, take Paswal Road to reach the venue.

Punjab (G.T. Road):

  • Districts south of Gujar Khan should use G.T. Road till Rawat.
  • Take Chakbeli Road to Chakri Interchange, then M2.
  • Use AWT Interchange and Paswal Road to reach the venue.

KPK, Punjab (Motorway and G.T. Road), Attock:

  • From KPK (M1): Use AWT Interchange and Paswal Road.
  • From KP districts (G.T. Road): Use Burhan Interchange, M1, AWT Interchange, Paswal Road.
  • From Wah Cantt: Use Brahma Jhang Bahtar Interchange, M1, AWT Interchange, Paswal Road.
  • From Punjab (M2): Use AWT Interchange and Paswal Road.

Murree:

  • Use Shahpur Road/Phulgaran Road to Khana Pull, Islamabad Express Highway.
  • Take Lethrar Road, Rawat T Chowk, Chakbeli Road, Chakri Interchange, M2.
  • Use AWT Interchange and Paswal Road.

Note: All other routes from KPK and Punjab are not allowed.
