Jamil Ahmed appointed as New Governor State Bank of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Finance Government of Pakistan has issued a notification of Mr.Jamil Ahmed appointed as a Governor State Bank of Pakistan for five-year term with immediate effect.

The Governor State Bank of Pakistan’s slot was vacant after Dr. Reza Baqir completed his tenure and Deputy Director State Bank took the interim charge. The notification issued on 19th August, 2022 and copy has been sent to the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Cabinet Division, State Bank of Pakistan and Secretary Finance Division.
